May's Skincare Favs

These products have actually been my long time favorites, but this month they have helped to improve my skin tremendously! I have very oily skin and stress acne (due to genetics and last minute cramming for my IB exams), but my condition have greatly improved after using these items:

1. Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

I'm obsessed with Korean cosmetics and this is my favorite Korean brand Mask that helps to reduce pore size and prevents acne! I have fairly large pores on my nose and after using this I saw a difference!  The makeup we us everyday is very harsh to our skin and can clog the pores on our beautiful faces. Use the clay mask twice a week (if you can!) and you will see the difference in about two weeks :)

2. WEI Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask
If you have a little extra to spent, I would highly recommend the WEI Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask set. This mud mask set does wonders with your skin! Yes, I agree that the it's pricy, but I can't stress enough how it's worth every penny. I used this during my trip in NYC with the AOF crew every night after the long days of meet and greets, and at the time my skin was at it's worst. I had stress acne from the lack of sleep and the long days of work, but the mud mask helped brighten my skin tone, get rid of the redness, and reduce the size of my pimples! So when you have the time (and money!) you should definitely treat yourself to a DIY spa day with this mud mask (and a bottle of fine Chardonnay)!

3. Murad Clarifying Toner

Out of all the Murad products that i've tried, this toner is the only thing that works! I've tried so many products from Murad and nothing - from their cleanser to wipes - has worked on my skin, except this clarifying toner! Like i've said before, nothing has worked on me, so i'm not really supportive of this brand, but their toner is something that I use on a daily bases and bring especially when I'm traveling! The toner makes your skin feel smooth and cool after using, and one bottle can last me about 3 - 4 weeks. I recommend this to anyone who has acne prone skin!

I hope everyone tries these products, they are seriously my favorite skincare products so far! I know these items have been on the market for a while, but I won't recommend anything, unless i've tried them for at least a month.  Feel free to message me if you have questions about these products, or my skin type, so you can get the most accurate info :) And if you have tried these products, what do you think about then?

Personal: IB Exams... Graduation... Summer...

The past month seemed like a year to me with all the IB exams and AOF projects. As of right now, I STILL have those things on my plate... My last exam is next Monday, I have my French exam to look forward to... yay! NOT. French is my worst subject, I'm really scared that I won't get a 5. I'm not even shooting for a 6 anymore! I've been semi studying for the test and I'm prepared to cram 4 years of IB French on Sunday (#procrastinatorsunite!). I am dreading next week, I have so many things to do before next week comes, the stress is really getting to me :/ I really hope I can pull though like I always do, but no promises...

Another thing that has been killing my mood is graduation. Don't get me wrong, I'm so ready to move to Seattle and start the life that I deserve (and leave my Florida life behind forever!!), but i'm really going to miss the familiarity. The familiarity of the place i've been living for 7 years and the friends I see almost everyday of my high school career. This morning I watched The Office Retrospective and The Office Finale, I sobbed through most of the show :'( I just can't believe the lovable people I grew up watching have grown up as well. It's sad to know that the show's end also marks the end of my high school life. We all had a good run and it's sad to know that the four years we spent was just a long chapter in our lives and we can never go back to that. The next time we see one another, we will all be in different chapters of our lives. I think the best thing I can do is to remember all the times we all spent together and move on. Moving on is hard, but it's a necessary part of graduating and growing up. Like Nick Carraway said " You can't repeat the past"(The Great Gatsby), so I won't. Right now I just want graduation to be over, so I can start summer!

Summer... This summer is going to be the longest summer... Because my beloved grandparents are coming for my graduation and staying as long as I want them to!!! :D Unlike most of my friends (who hate old people), I love my grandparents to death and I love doing anything with them! This summer is going to be full of sight seeing and picture taking :) We are going to visit cities across the US and I can't even express my excitement!

So who else is ready for summer to get here already?!?!

Nov Update:

I've been too busy with IB/studying for ACT/applying for colleges so I haven't been able to blog much/at all. Sorry about that guys.

I will be posting more after Jan 1 (due date of all college apps lol). Please understand that I have no time for anything right now, especially sleep so I often forget to blog.

So here is the update of the month...

I have been successfully accepted into Indiana University!! :D I am extremely happy because IU is one of the best school in the USA for international business (my future major). They actually surprised me because I found out I got in this month but they said that I am suppose to find out during December lol but I am definitely glad it came this month because it gave me confidence that I won't end up at DSC (local state college that is looked down upon) haha!!

2nd update...

It's Nov. 21 but I know I won't be able to post tomorrow so here is a early HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!!!! xoxo
This year I will be doing black friday shopping again but definitely not like last year, this year I plan to go at 9 ish because last year when I went with my friends, there wasn't any big sales so I will be when I feel like it haha
This will also be the first year I am going to participate in cyber monday shopping :) I am extremely excited because i've never done it before and I just got into buying online this year and it is so much better than waking up early on black friday haha
(I will do a black friday/cyber monday haul... eventually)

that is all for now, I hope you guys are doing well~
Stay safe and stay warm!

Monthly Favorite: September

Denim Shirts

I can't express how much I love denim shirts, they are so fabulous for any day of September.

I mean just look at these celebrities!

Especially for teens like me (who are still in school..ughh), I have days where I'm just too lazy to actually take time to get dressed up, and denim shirts are perfect fix! They don't require actually picking out things that match it because everything can essentially match with denims. Wearing a well fit denim, you can do the Daisy Duke look; wearing it loose, you can go boyfriend style. You don't even have to do your hair, I mean just look at Miley, her hair looks perfectly natural and beautiful with out fix because the denim just perfects your whole look.

So yes, the September must have is the denim shirt<3

This is just a quick insight of the people I admire~
So lets start with the classics...

Marilyn Monroe - I love everything about her, she was beautiful, determined, and sexy!  Even though at this age people say she is history but one can learn many things from her compare to the celebrities we have now...

Audrey Hepburn - I think I have seen all her movies, her beauty is beyond compare~ The fact that she is European is very sexy :)

Somewhere along the road I found her...

Xiaxue - I knew about her for about a few years but recently I have been vary interested in xiaxue because she is honest and very persuasive. And she is beautiful of course~

I can learn many things from these three ladies (oh and the list of role models can go on and on but they are just the main ones I love).
